RealTALK! Live Last Night, Tonight & Tomorrow Night

After a stunning week which proved RealTALK! Live hosts Big Ceaz and Papi Chulo could rally listeners and increase listenership from a miserable less than 200 to an overwhelmingly 5,500 plus, this week's shows promises to offer no less! Last night's discussion on RealTALK! Live HOT Topic Tuesday, "War: What is it Good For?" brought in a number of first time callers and made for a great discussion... painting ignorance and the Bush Administration as the real terrorists, and a caller suggesting everything that is happening was predestined. And guest moderator Ty Wilson turned up the heat a little more... make sure you check out last night's segment!

Tonight's Grown & Sexy Wednesday, Adult Film Star Jon Jon promises to heat up the discussion. With Papi Chulo at the helm of tonight's show, you never know what's going to happen!

And tomorrow night's RealTALK! Thursday, Big Ceaz welcomes the multi-talented, VH1's Born to Diva Season 1 Winner and Gospel Phenom Tarralyn Ramsey.

Don't forget to join us live each night at 11PM Eastern, 8PM Pacific. www.blogtalkradio.com/rtlive.

RealTALK! Reinvents Itself

In an effort to improve the show's format and increase listenership, RealTALK! Live hosts Big Ceaz and Papi Chulo have reinvented the show. Effective March 1, 2008, in an effort to give listeners what they want and what they've come to expect from the show, and to begin tackling real life issues that are important to the hosts and listeners, RealTALK! Live has moved from a one day a week program to a three days a week theme-based program.

"It's really about moving away from the old format of the show, where we've been called the 'Jerry Springer' of BlogTalkRadio, to a more appropriate yet just as crazy show," stated RealTALK! Live creator and host Damon "Big Ceaz" Ceaser. The show's theme-based format now includes:

"Hot Topic Tuesdays": A break away from the shows normal format, hosts and listeners bring to the table issues affecting their communities. Tackling subjects such as "AIDS in the Black Community", "Gays in the Church", and "Runaway Politics", the hosts, guests and callers deal with real issues affecting real people.

"Grown & Sexy Wednesdays": Keeping in tradition with the Jerry Springer-like show, talking with performers in the adult entertainment industry, talking to callers about there deepest, darkest secrets, and being subtly raunchy while keeping in line with BTR's programming policy.

"RealTALK! Thursdays": After hearing the one hour shows on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the hosts hope to have listeners thirsting for more... a two hour show with more of an anything goes type approach to interviewing, with guests ranging from up and coming Hip Hop artists to established gospel artists, politicians, and teen money makers.

All shows start at 11PM Eastern/8PM Pacific. Upcoming guests include Richard Mann (3/5/08), Maryland Musiq's own Tae Barz (3/6/08), and gospel sensation Tarralyn Ramsey (3/13/08).

In addition to changing to a theme-based program, RealTALK! Live has changed it's site. While still hosted on BTR, the new site is http://www.blogtalkradio.com/rtlive, a departure from the previous "realtalkbigceaz" in order for the founding host to take the spotlight off of himself and place it on the team.

Do you want to participate in the conversations, ask questions, share your thoughts, or do you have a theme or a guest in mind, call the show at 646-200-0752! For more information on RealTALK! Live, visit its blog at http://rtlive.blogspot.com. Don't forget to add them to your MySpace at www.myspace.com/realtalkbcl.

Jason Steed - January 31, 2008

Tune in to RealTALK! Live on January 31, 2008 for actor JASON STEED!

A native of London, England, JASON STEED knew he wanted to act since he was 5 years of age. An avid fan of American television shows like Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere and Cheers, Steed would recreate scenes from the series, performing them for family and friends word for word. During his primary school years at St. Mary Magdalene he learned drama was a way to keep himself out of trouble. As a teenager Steed and four friends formed the R&B group "Storm." The group was a success and toured around England as a warm up act for the comedians on the comedy circuits.

Steed went on to study performing arts at The BRITS Performing Arts and Technology School for two years graduating with a diploma in music, drama, and dance. Unsure of his next move and the group falling apart Jason took time out of the arts and sought to gain experiences in 'Real life' but still the performing side could not evade him, he would use his natural gift to Improvise out of many sticky situations and different challenges. In the end, the love for the stage finally won over him and he auditioned for drama school but was unsuccessful in his attempt and not accepted.

Rejected and in his early twenties, he then sought to join the Royal Air Force (RAF) but was told by the officers at the Army Careers Centre, that he would need a "A" level qualification in any subject by the time he was 23 years of age in order to qualify for the selection process. Instantly Jason believed that the surefire subject for him to attain this grade was only in drama, so he auditioned at the local college and joined on the A-Level drama course. Having falsified his previous experience in acting, the tutors allowed Jason to jump straight in at the second year as they felt the first year would be too basic for him.

After six months of doing the course, they really did became aware of his real growing potential as a actor, and they were also aware of his ambitions to join the RAF. At the tutorial they sat down with him and warned him of his growing potential. This was to become the pinnacle moment and “crunch” time in Jason's life thus far. That same year he was awarded a full three-year scholarship at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts accredited drama school in London.

He graduated in June 2003 after completing the course successfully and was awarded the BA (Hons) in Acting (validated by the University of Greenwich) and the National Diploma in Professional Acting (validated by Trinity College London). In addition to this, he was offered Equity membership through NCDT accreditation.

Jason’s first acting role was a lead in an independent film called 'Home'. He appeared in other lead roles in films including 'Blood', 'Seven Days in Summer' and 'Urban Peacocks'. Television (BBC1) series ‘Silent Witness’ (uk) , the long running show ‘The Bill’ (uk) and ‘The Courtroom’ (uk). Theatre included ‘Hell’s Fury’, ‘Bashment’, ‘Laters’, ‘Passa Passa’, ‘Richard III’, ‘Mother Courage’, ‘The Seagulls’, ‘The Beau Stratagem’. Jason recently guest starred as Baby Gat in Season Two of the American hit show, ‘Noah’s Arc’, on the Logo/Viacom channel. He is currently getting ready to start shooting Noah’s Arc the movie February 2008.

Jason's influences are Denzel Washington, Laurence Fishburne, Will Smith, Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino, Morgan Freeman, Christian Bale, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Tupac Shakur, Halle Berry, Angela Bassett and Whoppi Goldberg.
